This Privacy Policy explains how Aspects Inspire ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit aspectsinspire.com (the "Site"). We focus on education software, learning platforms, and SaaS productivity tools content and recommendations.

1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
When you contact us by email at [email protected] (or via newsletter signup), we receive:
- Your email address
- The subject and content of your message
- Any optional information you include
We do not run a contact form on the Site itself. The contact link opens your email client, and your message is sent through your normal email infrastructure to our inbox.
1.2 Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, we automatically collect:
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4: pageviews, session duration, device/browser type, approximate geographic location (city-level, derived from IP). We do not store your full IP address.
- Affiliate tracking data: when you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination merchant (and any partner affiliate network such as Awin, ShareASale, CJ, Impact, Amazon Associates) may set cookies or use tracking parameters to attribute the click. We never receive your purchase details directly; we receive aggregated commission reports only.
1.3 Cookies
The Site uses the following cookie categories:
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — anonymized, no cross-site tracking. - Affiliate attribution: set by third-party merchant networks when you click outbound links.
You can disable analytics cookies at any time via your browser settings or by enabling Do Not Track. Disabling cookies will not block access to Site content.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries and provide editorial assistance
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Measure aggregate readership and content performance
- Detect and prevent abuse, spam, and security threats
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, share it with data brokers, or use it for cross-site advertising profiling.
3. How we share information
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers under contract: Google Analytics (audience analytics), our DNS / hosting provider (delivering pages and forwarding email at our domain). Each provider processes data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements.
- Affiliate networks: when you click an outbound affiliate link, the destination merchant may set its own cookies. We do not share your inbox messages with merchants.
- Legal compliance: when required by valid legal process or to protect our rights.
4. Data retention
- Email correspondence sent to our inbox is retained for 24 months for editorial follow-up, then deleted unless you remain in active conversation with us.
- Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics defaults (currently 14 months for event data) unless you opt out.
- Server access logs are retained per our hosting provider's defaults (typically 30 days) for security analysis.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Port your data to another service
- Opt out of analytics cookies and email communications
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
5.1 US state-specific rights
If you reside in California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), or Virginia (VCDPA), you have additional rights including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal data. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5.2 EU/EEA/UK residents
If you reside in the EU, EEA, or UK, our legal basis for processing is legitimate interest (operating the Site and responding to inquiries) and consent (analytics cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time.

The Site is operated from servers located primarily in the United States. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption and access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
Education & SaaS specific notes
This section supplements the core privacy policy with notes specific to education software and SaaS reviews.
Vendor referral cookies
When you click an outbound link to an education SaaS vendor (LMS, course platform, productivity tool, etc.), the vendor may set its own analytics and trial-conversion cookies. Their cookie practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
